Icelandic Cool Fashion Designers

Today we added the Icelandic Fashion Designers to IcelandicCool. This is an incredible group of creative people who make wonderful things to play in, work in and look fabulous in.

As former Senior Designer at both Calvin Klein and Gucci as well as Design Director at La Perla, Steinunn Sigurdardóttir is no stranger to the glitter and glam of the fashion world. In 2008 she was the first fashion designer ever to be awarded the prestigious Söderberg Prize by the Röhsska Museum of Design and Decorative Arts in Gothenburg, Sweden. A true Icelandic superstar. Her spring collection just hit the runway in Milan - Awesome!

But there are many others deserving of attention -- you have to see it for yourself. Thelma has great head peices to transform any outfit, Birna has fun colors for spring and Hidden Goods has handbags that we absolutely fell in love with (both green & pink! the yellow-orange is hot too)

IcelandicCool.com - a space created for people to explore Iceland, hear her story and get motivated to visit as soon as possible - its that incredible. And if you can't visit this year, plan next year's adventure. And shop the really cool stuff Iceland has now.

Creating this space has already been an exciting journey, full of colors, personalities and insite, and it hasn't even launched yet. You have to get onboard and come along. We promise it will entertain and inspire you. After feeling Iceland's cool, it will change you in good ways. Some will even be worldly like caring about the environment and clean energy. Iceland warm since 1926 in some of the
world's hottest fashion statement.
